This time we bring you a solution to a very common problem. Have dry skin, give yourself a moisturizer and be obliged not to touch the area until the cream dries.

And the next day the same operation again, dry skin, application of cream, eternal waiting.

Well, I'm going to tell you a secret, the creams that nourish and hydrate do not have to be sticky or oily. Two main factors determine the absorption of the cream.

  1. The amount of cream that we apply
  2. The texture and composition of the cream

I have personally been in that loop for several years. In my case, in the area where the glasses rest, that is, the cheekbone or lower area of the eyes, I always got dryness and small redness.

Each skin is a world no matter how much we categorize them into dry, combination or oily skin.

Everyone has to test what works and what doesn't with trial and error. I got more dryness after eating badly (sugar, pizza...) and/or when I didn't hydrate the area.

I said at the beginning that it is easy to get desperate when we are in that cycle of using a product (hydrating with a product) that is not the right one and having the dryness again in the area the next day or after a few hours. Products that have chemical compounds, all in all do not work, yes, they give you the feeling that they work for a few hours but when the chemical layer disappears (which on top of that does not allow your skin to breathe) dryness appears again even with more virulence than before.

That product with chemicals has literally covered your pores, and on top of not fixing your problem (dryness) it has not allowed your skin to breathe or excrete the impurities that we accumulate.

Overall, I'm not here to tell you that I have a magic wand, but I do want to recommend that you use natural and organic products (another day we'll talk about the difference between natural and organic).

For example, apricot kernel oil is very good for nourishing dry skin without clogging pores and applying the right amount does not leave the feeling of excess oil.

Backture Organics' ALL TERRAIN cream contains apricot kernel oil among other ingredients that help nourish and hydrate your skin in general and dry areas in particular.

Apricot Kernel Oil Properties:

  • Toning, nourishing, moisturizing, softening, revitalizing and soothing.
  • It is a very penetrating oil that brings light to dull and withered skin without leaving excess fat on the epidermis.
  • It is rich in Vitamin A, linoleic acid which is from the family of omega 6 fatty acids.
